Service Description

Begin your animation career with this condensed hands on experience. While learning the 12 principles of animation you will conceive an animate a 15 second animated short from script to screen. We will cover everything from character design, storyboards, rough animation, background design and so much more. Two evenings per week of animation creativity. Structure Weeks 1–2: Introduction to animation + film concept Weeks 3–4: Character design + construction Weeks 5–6: Story development + storyboard Weeks 7–8: Layout + staging Weeks 9–10: Animatic + timing Weeks 11–15: Animation production Weeks 16–17: Cleanup + colour Week 18: Compositing in Resolve Week 19: Editing + sound + final polish Week 20: Final screening + critique This structure is a guideline only and subject to change at Toon Dojo's discretion based on the needs of the group.
